Lead visitors to upstairs: Seto Gura Museum/ いかに来館者を2階に連れて来るか：瀬戸蔵

Words on the stairs

They made a couple of tricks to let visitor motivate him or herself come upstairs.

At fist, they attached texts on the staircase; each word represents the special term, which only used among ceramic industry. The visitor could learn that word by chasing the new words to upstairs.

Second trick was little unusual. They installed an alien figure in the second floor balcony. It’s quietly looking down the exhibit floor. When visitor wants to look closer, need to come up stairs.

来館者を2階に呼ぶ仕掛けを二つ程見つけました。

一つ目は、階段の格段に瀬戸物業界での専門用語が貼付けてありました。階段を登りながら、新しい専門用語を学ぶ事が出来ます。

ふたつめはチョット変わった仕掛けでした。2階のバルコニー部分にエイリアンの人形が立っていました。静かに展示室を見下ろしていてます。近くにで見対来館者は、2階に上って来るしか有りません。

面白い試みですね。

Promotional event : Tokyo Metro : プロモーションイベント：東京メトロ　 Tokyo Metro organized a mysterious quiz game last Nov. to Dec. Anybody who wish to participates could apply with 2,160 yen as the entry fee and receive a mystery kit includes quiz, day pass and map etc. and also, the help is available through web if you carry mobile devices. When the participant answer the question, it lead to other station, then there are a hidden code or hint to answer and lead to anther places in various location in all over Tokyo… As far as I can tell, it was a popular event. Sony’s three sacred products: Sony Corporate Museum / ソニーの三種の神器：ソニー歴史資料館　

In the museum, there is an exhibit corner named ‘Genryu (Headwaters)’ which displays their top three innovative products, Tape recorder, Transistor and Television. The engineer’s hand written notes are also on display beside the products, they help visitors to understand how Sony struggles to develop.

この施設の展示には「源流」というタイトルのコーナーが有り、ソニーを代表するテープレコーダー、トランジスタ、テレビという3種の製品を展示しています。開発技術者の手書きのノート等も一緒に展示しているので、開発の苦労を見る事が出来ます。
