The down light high lights the each process performed in the scale model

This well detailed scale model is a part of the description program, which informs the procedure for the copper smelting with pre-programed narrations.

When the visitor pushes the button, the narration starts to describe each process of the smelting step by step.  And so as the spot light highlights the particular work location on the scale model according to the narrations.

来館者がボタンを押すと、ナレーションで銅を精錬する個々のプロセスの説明が始まります。ナレーションにあわせて模型の該当部分にスポットライトが当たり、作業手順と場所を示します。

I was little surprised to find the “exhibit” in a fast food restaurant like Mac where I though it would be a last place I could expected to see any informal education setting, I was wrong.

Here they are, MacDonald’s in Azabu-Jyuban had an exhibit and displayed their old food processing tools with description text, just like a museum!

Nice move, Donald!

まさかファーストフード・レストランのマクドナルドで教育に資する展示を見る事になるとは思ってもみませんでした。

この麻布十番のマクドナルドでは、展示と解説文章が用意されていて、まるで博物館のようです。

You could get in the back of the courier service’s delivery truck. There is a back panel of the truck installed in the museum wall, which the visitor freely open and step inside.

In case of this delivery truck, the packages are separately stored according to three different temperature classifications, frozen, cold and normal temperature for Perishable foods,

Change the head mark for the cargo train

宅配便の荷台の中に入れます。博物館の壁が宅配便の荷台担っていて、来館者は扉を開けて自由に中に乗り込めるのです。

この車両の荷台の中は、腐りやすい食べ物等の為に冷凍、冷蔵、普通の温度と運搬温度の区分設定は3種類にも分かれています。

いやぁー、日本の宅配便のサービスはきめ細かいですねぇ！

Since Edo era, 1603 to 1863, Tokyo has a lot of slopes and there was a word for it during Edo era, “Edo’s eight hundred eight slopes”.  No one knows how accurate the number was, but surely a lot of slopes you notice when you move around down town Tokyo.  Here I am walking around Motoazabu area, prestigious part of Tokyo.  With in 400 m or so of distance, I found 4 slopes with signpost that informing the name and history of each slopes.

Daikoku-zaka, God of luck slope

江戸時代より東京には沢山の坂が有り、「江戸八百八坂」と呼ばれていました。本当はどれだけの数の坂があるのかはわかりませんが、都内を移動していると確かに沢山の坂がある事に気がつきます。都内でも結構高級な住宅地の元麻布を歩いていたら、400メートル程の間に４つも坂があって、それぞれちゃんとサインポストが立っていて、歴史等の説明がされていました。
