Showing the process: Orient Industry 40th Anniversary -LOVE DOLL- , Atsukobarouh / プロセスの展示：オリエント工業４０周年記念展「今と昔の愛人形」、アツコバルー

Orient Industry is a unique company who specialized producing life size silicone female figures for specific purpose.

There is an exhibit cerebrating their 40^th anniversary and evidently become a one of the most popular exhibit in Tokyo for both male and female clienteles.

The exhibition space was full of their products from their early days to most recent models.  I am hesitating to post the images but if one really interested in seeing these, may be able to search and find in the net.

Anyway, one of the exhibit was showing the finish and make up process on the life like face colouring. You can see how the simple sheet of silicone rubber become so realistic (and attractive) human face.  It is one of the evidence that Japanese people would always add master’s human touch to even the industrial products.

オリエンタル工業は、ある特別な目的の等身大の女性像を製造している会社です。渋谷で開催されているこの創業４０周年記念展は、蓋を開けてみると女性にも人気の展覧会となり、東京で今一番話題の展覧会です。このブログには、会場にはその技術革新の歩みがわかる創業初期の製品から最新のモデルまでが並べられ、特に最近のモデルのこだわりには見を見張るものがありました。このブログには写真を載せませんが、興味のある方はネット上を探してみてください。

ここで掲載する写真は、頭部の着彩のプロセスの展示です。最初は単純な一枚のシリコンの抜き型だったものが、リアル（しかも魅力的）な表情の頭部に変わってゆく経過が分かります。

我が国では、たとえ工業製品でも職人の匠の技が加えられていることの良い実例ですね。
