Directional sign of the paving ２ : The National Art Center, Tokyo / 路面上の行き先案内サイン ２：国立新美術館

The National Art Center, Tokyo is located in the fancy neighborhood called Roppongi, where two other respected corporate owned museums, Mori Art Museum and Suntry Museum of Art.

Those three museums started a joint promotion called ‘Roppongi Art Triangle’ that the visitor could receive discount when half ticket of other museum is presented.

Therefore, the large floor directional sign is installed on the pavement of the outside entrance space at the National Art Center, Tokyo.

国立新美術館のある六本木地域には、他にも有名な企業美術館の森美術館とサントリー美術館の２館があります。

これらの3館が共同して、「六本木アート・トライアングル」というプロモーションを行っています。他の美術館の半券を見せると、割引料金で入館できる制度です。

そのため国立新美術館の屋外入り口には、他の2館を案内するサインが路面に設置されているます。

A brochure stand in the JR Omiya Station which locate near JR East sponsored train museum, the Railway Museum, hang a poster with chronological table for celebrating the  130 anniversary of Utsunomiya line.

I like these effort informing a little history of the location.

JR東日本が建てた鉄道博物館が近くにあるJR大宮駅内の案内パンフレットスタンドには、宇都宮線の開業１３０周年を記念する歴史年表付きポスターが取り付けられていました。

その土地の歴史を伝える姿勢は嬉しいものです。

Colourful Anti cancer campaign :Tokyo Corporation / カラフルなガン予防キャンペーン：東急東横線

This striking blight pink banners and hangings in the train car were for advertising the campaign against the Breast cancer.  Nippon Life Insurance Company and Hikarie depart store were among the sponser and even Babie was taking part on this campane.

Very impresssibe, indeed.

車両内部に掲示されたこの眩しいほどのピンクのバナーや中吊広告は、乳がん予防のキャンペーンです。このキャンペーンは日本生命やヒカリエがスポンサーになっており、あのバービーも参加していました。

Exhibit in the station 2: Tetsudo-Hakubutukan Station/ 駅内の展示 2：鉄道博物館（大成）駅

A cut model of actual ‘New Shuttle’, a commuter LRT, and wheel parts are displayed in the ticketing space of the Tetsudo-Hakubutukan Station.

This commuting train system runs along Shinkansen which track is extended from Sinkansen’s overpass.

The track has frequent up/down, tight corners, need for suppression of vibration and noise in order to lay beside the existing Shinkansen structures, this LRT chose rubber tire.

The tire, hub and difference gear are on display.

本物の通勤システム「ニューシャトル」の足回りの部品が鉄道博物館の改札空間に展示されています。

この通勤システムの軌道は新幹線の高架を延長して作られました。新交通機関の軌道は既存の新幹線の軌道構造に合わせて建設されたため、登り下り、急なコーナー、振動や騒音の抑制などに対応する必要があり、ゴム製のタイヤが使われています。

駅構内にはタイヤ、ハブ軸、変速ギアが展示されています。

A well designed guide book for pleasure fish man was handed out at the Environmental Agency – Abu Dhabi booth.

It’s a small pocket size book and all pages are vinyl coted for water resistance because of the condition this book might be handled. The pages are easy to open, flip and stay open in specific page by using the round wire binding.

The book contains Do and Do Not, location of the fishing area, size regulation by kinds of fish, etc.

釣りを楽しむ人向けの素晴らしいデザインのハンドブックが、アブダビ環境庁の展示ブースで配られていました。

ポケットの入るくらいの小さなハンドブックで、水周りで使われることをが考慮され、すべてのページはビニールコーティングされています。また、開いたり、ページをめくったり、ページを開けっぱなしにしたりしやすくするため、ワーヤー式の綴じ金具を使っています。

内容は、やって良いこと、悪いこと、許可された釣り場、種類毎の魚の許可サイズなどが英語とアラビア語で記載されています。
