Floor directional lighting signs are common among the emergency signs that required simple, effective and easy to understand in confusing environment.

So, some designer(s) realized why not using similar lighting in the museum directional sign system.

The Kitakyushu Museum of Natural History & Human History has the LED directional lights embedded in the floor, easy to follow the direction.  It stands out well under semi dark museum lighting condition.

床に行き先を示す埋め込み式の照明のサインは、災害時の混乱の中でも明快で、効果的で、わかりやすい機能が求められる非常用サインとしてよく使われています。

この博物館のデザイナーの方たちは、その考えを博物館でも活かしては？と気がついたのでしょう。

いのちのたび博物館では、LED照明の行き先サインが床に埋め込まれ、行き先をわかりやすく案内しています。

特に、少し暗めの博物館内の照明環境下ではよく目立っています。
