Net integrated street map: Omotesando Shotenkai / ねっとにつながる地図：表参道商店会

A map installed on the Omotesando Street is unique in several ways.

First of all, the graphic style is some how old-fashioned Ukiyoe like and bird’s eye view is easy to understand the locations.

The best of all is the net integration functions, ‘Aoyama Episode Sketches’ and Gallery Denchu (Telephone Pole).

The ‘Aoyama Episode Sketches’ are produced by a group of design students in Tokyo Polytechnic University who collected the episodes by conducting the healing research among Ometesando Shotenkai (merchants association).

Those sketches are attached on the telephone pole indicated on this map and able to see and read the detailed information on the sketch on the net when you scan the QR code printed beside the sketches.

表参道に掲示されている地図は一風変わって工夫がされています。まず、浮世絵みたいなデザインで、しかも鳥瞰図なので、わかりやすい工夫がされています。さらに、「青山エピソードスケッチ」と「電柱ギャラリー」というネットを使った機能まであります。

東京工芸大学のデザイン科の学生たちが、商店会のほとたちから聞き取ったエピソードのスケッチが、地図で示した場所の電柱に取り付けられているのです。スケッチ脇のQRコードからネットにアクセスすると、スケッチやエピゾードの詳細情報を知る事ができるのです。
