When a fragile old painting is digitalized
as a super high resolution digital image, it could become user friendly exhibit
which visitor could examine the detail freely.
And for the museum side, chance to give much more detailed information
to the visitor who will willing to go any deeper.
This is an example. A folding screen depicting the people’s daily
life of old Kyoto is on display and a large flat screen monitor is mounted on
the which shows digital image of same painting.
Visitor could access the monitor freely and could learn by him/herself.
