This full scale partial model was made for explain the internal structure and construction processes

 of a traditional a plasterer work for building a mud covered fare proof warehouse.

The model shows all the details and easy to understand how much efforts were required to complete the building.

 In Kawagoe, after a big fire was destroyed big thank of city centre in 1893, the merchants started rebuilding their Shop/Home buildings as fire proof buildings with mud covered construction which was commonly used for safe storage.

これは、耐火性能の高い土蔵の内部構造と製作の過程を紹介する実物大の部分模型です。

伝統的な土蔵を造るための手間と技がよくわかる優れた模型です。

川越は1893年の大火で市の中心が焼失し、商人たちがお店兼住居を、耐火性能の高い蔵造りで再建し、今でもその街並みが残っています。
