In the Athletes shoes 1 Goalie: Canada’s Sports Hall of Fame / スポーツ選手体験 1 ゴールキーパー：カナダ・スポーツの殿堂

Since the Canada’s Sports Hall of Fame’s theme is the Canadians who made the great achievements on the sports, thus the exhibit items are mostly somebody’s memorabilia.  It would appeal to the visitor who already knows the athletes but it would need something more to stimulate the interest of other people who are not familiar with, young kids for instance.

Canada’s Sports Hall of Fame is trying hard to create the exhibit that would give you a bit of excitement whith the athletes like experience.

This is the hockey goalie experience exhibit, looking the skate link through goalies helmet, start the movie image that play the opponent team shooting a pack to you.  To play the movie, push a start button placed in the stick holding globe after put your head in the helmet

カナダスポーツの殿堂は、主にスポーツで活躍した選手の記念品等の展示となります。その選手を良く知っている来館者には興味深いかもしれませんが、良く知らない若い子ども達にはあまり面白くないかもしれません。

そこでこの施設では、来館者にチョットした興奮が体験してもらえるように、何と選手の体験ができる展示を開発していました。

このホッケーのゴールキーパー体験の展示では、キーパーのヘルメット越しにスケートリンク上で、ゴールにシュートして攻めてくる相手選手の姿を正面から見る体験が出来ます。ヘルメットに頭を入れて、手をホッケースティックの手袋に入れ、手袋に仕込まれたスイッチを押すと映像が始まります。
