Interpretive Panel on Site :Obata Ryokuchi Park / サイトでの解説パネル

This panel installed beside water informs the living things you can find around this pond, ‘Tatsu Maki Ike’ means Tornado Pond in English.

The panel introduces flesh water fish, shrimps reptiles and vegetations. It was pleasant surprise to find a picture of local Sundew, Insectivore, on this panel, which I have seen when I was a kid, few decades back.  I thought they were extinct and long gone.

The panel also informs the unpleasant truth too, Alien creatures, animals and vegetations.

I appreciate the local government’s effort to preserve the eco system in this park.

この池の傍らに設置された解説パネルは、竜巻池の周辺に生息する生物を紹介しています。パネルには淡水魚、甲殻類、は虫類や植物などが紹介されています。パネルで、モウセンゴケの一種が紹介されているのを見つけたのは嬉しい驚きでした。何十年も前の子どもの時に見かけてはいましたが、もうすっかり絶滅していると思っていました。

しかしこのパネルには、嬉しくないものも紹介されています．外来の動植物です。

地元自治体のしてきた環境を守る努力、ありがたい事です。
