I found a guiding system that uses your own cell phone or smart phone in the downtown Tokyo, Roppongi.  The system uses Sony’s standard IC tip, FeliCa or QR code which another Japanese company called Denso developed graphic marker. 

Unfortunately, my iPhone wasn’t able to handle both, missed the chance to try this interesting guide system.

It said, when you touch the map with your cell/smart phone, it would connect to the shops web pages for shop and events information.

六本木で行われている携帯やスマホを使った街の案内システムです。ソニーが開発したFeliCaや、デンソーが開発したQRコードを使い情報を提供します。残念ながら自分のiPhoneはどちらにも対応していないのでこの興味深いシステムを試している事は出来ませんでした。

どうやら、地図にタッチするとお店のサイトにつながり、お店やイベントの情報を見る事が出来るようです。
