Every graphic designer is struggle to come
up the idea of how their designed poster could attract or get notice from the
audiences, especially posters put up on the subway’s busy walkway wall.
This poster is warning general public to
pay attention on the suspicions package in subway area, which might be concealed
explosive by terrorist.
To get pedestrian’s attention, this poster
changes the main graphic in the center by sifting the viewpoint, a paper bag
image become bomb picture.
This visual trick is created with a plastic
sheet ‘lenticular’ that work like prism lens and limit the direction of the
visible area, in this poster paper bag image is only visible in right side and
bomb image is in left side.
It is an old trick in magazines and toys
for young but not much used as posters for general public like this example.

グラフィックデザイナーなら誰でも自分のデザインしたポスターをいかに魅力的に、人々の関心を引きつけられるようにするかに頭を悩ませています。特に人通りの激しい地下鉄の通路壁に貼られるようなポスターならなおさらです。
これは一般の方たちに地下鉄まわりでの、テロリストの爆発物が隠されているかもしれない、不審な荷物への関心を高めてもらうためのポスターです。
歩行者の興味を引くために、このポスターの真ん中の絵柄は目線を動かすと紙袋から爆弾のイメージに変化する仕掛けになっています。
この視覚トリックは「レンチキラー」と呼ばれるプラスチックのシートがポスターに貼られていて、プリズム効果によって見る方向によって異なった図柄が見え

るような効果（右側から見ると紙袋、左側から見ると爆弾）を生み出すのです。
昔から子供向けの雑誌やおもちゃにはよく使われていたトリックですが、公共の場で一般の人向けのポスターに使われるのは珍しい手法です。
