Ancient Engineer: Al Jazari: Science Museum, London / 昔の技術者：ロンドン科学博物館

There was an Islamic Science/Engineer temporally exhibit titled ‘1001Inovations’ held in the Science Museum, London few years back.

The exhibit was focusing on the individual scientist, engineer, doctor, merchant school principal and astronomer, all Islamic origin in 12 to 13 century.

Here is Al Jazari, a genius engineer in 12 century and best know to the inventor of the famous ‘Elephant Clock which used the gravity force of the water filled inside the elephant body.

数年前、ロンドンの科学博物館でイスラム科学技術の企画展「1001の発明展」が開催されました。

これは、12-13世紀のイスラム社会で活躍した科学者、技術者、医者、商人、学校長や天文学者等に個人に焦点を当てた展示でした。

これは有名な象時計（象の体内に貯めた水の重力を利用した時計）を発明した12世紀の天才技術者、アル・ジャザリの展示です。
