Old fashioned fishing gear: Tsuri Bunka Siryo-kan (Fishing Culture Museum) / 伝統釣り具：釣り文化資料館

A fishing weekly newspaper, Shukan Tsuri News, build an exhibit room in their head office building.  The collections are all master craftsman’s hand made bamboo fishing rods and gears.  They want to preserve the traditional fishing equipment before they are disappears when carbon fiber became the dominant material these days.

The fishing rods are all made by the master craftsmen and describes the lineage of each rod style. 

Besides the fishing rods, their collection include fishhooks, floats and fishing boxes.

週刊つりニュース社の本社に併設された施設。コレクション資料は全て名人手作りの竹製釣り道具です。カーボン素材が全盛の今、伝統的な釣り道具が消えてしまう前に収集したいとの思いだそうです。

釣り竿は全て名人の手作りで、職人それぞれの系譜についての説明もありました。釣り竿以外にも釣り針、浮き、道具箱等も展示されています。
