The inside of the train in Japan usually hang advertisement posters from variety of clients.

Sometimes, they push the baundly much father, single client takes over entire consolidated railway cars, inside out.

This time, the camera giant Canon pays for using entire Ymanote line trains for their promotion with cats theme.

The front end rear end of the train have the cat faces were drawn, the both sides of entrance door has promo posters, and inside is filled with promotional materials, posters, mini T shorts, ad video etc.

I’m impressed!

日本では通常、電車の中には様々な広告主のポスターが吊り下げられています。

時には、その境を拡げ一つの施主が車両全体、内外を占有する事があります。

今回は、カメラの巨大企業Cannonがネコをテーマに山手線を電車全体を買い取ったようです。

車両の前後にはネコの顔が描かれ、入り口両側には広告ポスターが張られています。内部には、ポスター、ミニTシャツ、宣伝映像など広告素材が満載でした。

Look at this map I found in front of the Gotanda Station.

The area map was good, however, the post installed in front of the map, merely 50 cm or less between, cover the bottom quarter od the map…

日本では、駅周辺の都市計画は効率的にデザインされていて、地域の安全を守る交番、コンビニ、自販機、地域案内地図やポスト等などが整備され、計画は良く練られたものです。

五反田駅周辺で見つけた地図を見て下さい。地図は良いのですが、郵便ポストがすぐ目の前に設置されていて、下部の1/4位を隠しています。お互いの隙間も50センチ程しか隙間がありません。

Stamp Exhibit in the post office: Shinjuku Kita Post office / 郵便局の切手展示：新宿北郵便局

The Shinjuku Kita post office has a glass wall display case in the lobby, which displays local stamp club’s collection, enlarged stamp photocopy.  The theme of the exhibit was FIFA World Cup, stamps from all over the world.

Nice to see an exhibit in the post office, place where I expect last.

新宿北郵便局のロビーにはガラス壁面ケースが設置されていて、地元の切手クラブが拡大コピーした切手コレクションを展示していました。展示のテーマはフィファワールドカップで世界中の切手でした。

まさか郵便局で展示が見られるなんて凄いですね。

Small private museum: Brake Museum / 小さなプライベート博物館：ブレーキ博物館

 

Shinkan-sen Brake

This museum is located on the second floor of a brake manufacture, Nakayama Lining Industry.  The exhibit floor is rather small, however, space is filled with tons of brakes from Formula 1 Racer to the Bullet Train, Shinkan-sen. 

Surprisingly, they have driving simulator with big rear projection monitor.

Draiving Simulator

この博物館はブレーキメーカーの中山ライニング工業の２階に開設されています。展示室は広くはないのですが、F１から新幹線までのブレーキで一杯です。

また驚いた事に、リアプロジェクションの映像を映す運転シミュレーターまで体験できます。

スゴイです！
