This

one of the hard core leader of the conservative Edo government’s correlation
force against the revolutionist who attempted ovrethrow the feudal dominanter and build a new democratic government in late
1800. Tsuginosuke was a good commander
on the battle but had gun shot and eventually the wound caused his life end while
he took refugee in this area.
The museum interior is narrow and has high
ceiling. The exhibit was arranged along
the one side of the wall that rises as steps and the visitor would trace his life from bottom
to top. As if the visitor follows
Tsuginosuke’s life by walking up the stairs as his position in his clan rise up when he got older.
The top floor was the climax of his life,
looking down the exhibit space or his whole life, his life-sized figure aiming
the Gatling gun to the enemy force, showing his pride and faith.
