Top projection mapping: The Earth Observation Research Center / 上部上映マッピング：地球観測センター

This is a simple version of quasi projection mapping technique.  It projects the images on a white geography model of a Japanese volcano in Nagasaki prefecture, Unzen-fugen Dake that erupted in 1990 and hot pyroclastic flow killed more than 40 people.  Also, previous time this volcano erupted in 1798, it caused huge landslide and tsunami and left a huge disaster and casualties.

The projected images are different geological deposit which indicate a long history of lava flows and volcanic sediment。

Simple but easy to compare differences graphically.

この展示は、プロジェクションマッピング手法を簡素化したようなものです。1990年に噴火し、火砕流で40名以上の方の命を奪った長崎県の雲仙普賢岳の白模型の上に映像を投影しています。普賢岳は、1798年にも噴火を起こしていて、大きな地滑りと津波が発生し多大な損害と被害者を残しました。

長い歴史の火山活動を示す、溶岩流や火山性堆積物の画像を投影しています。

シンプルですが、様々なデータを画像的に比較するには良い手法です。
