Let's peek a microscope：Nagoya Sewerage Science Center / 顕微鏡を覗い手見よう：名古屋下水道科学館

In this Science Centre, there is an actual microscope the visitor could look in the Microorganism, such as, bacterium, protozoan, and metazoan which common in the sewerage water.  Those specimens are on the prepared slides installed behind the both sides of the microscope with a graphic panel describing the detail information of each Microorganism by texts and photos.

The visitor could freely use the microscope, see and compare each specimen.  Also, an introductory video is playing on the back wall

You don’t usually have any chance seeing those unusual organisms in everyday life.

この施設には、来館者が下水で見つかる細菌、原生動物、後生動物等の微生物を観察出来る実物の顕微鏡が展示されています。それらの微生物は、顕微鏡の背後左右にプレパレートにされて並んでいて、グラフィックパネルにてその生物の特徴が写真と解説文で紹介されています．来館者は顕微鏡を自由に使い、それらの微生物を拡大して見たり、比較したりする事が出来ます。また、背面壁のモニターでは解説映像を上映しています。普通の生活をしていると、微生物を見るような事はまずあり得ません。
