Next process of the wastewater treatment at
the city plant in Nagoya is the Sedimentation pool.
After mixing oxygen for activating bacteria
activities, the sewerage water is set for sedimentation. This exhibit with six clear tubes that filled
with sewerage water and installed digital timers indicating how many minutes
each water is in the tube for sedimentation.

matters fall down to the bottom and supernatant water goes sterilization

名古屋市の下水処理場での次の工程は沈殿池です。
空気を混ぜてバクテリアを活性化させた下水は、沈潜池に貯められます。この展示は6本の透明管に下水が入れられ、手前のデジタルカウンターで何分沈殿させているかがわかります。長く置いた水の方がきれいな事が、良くわかります。（左から：4分,1分,16分,13分,10分,7分.）時間の長い方の水が澄んでいるのが良くわかります。
浮遊している汚れの固まりはバクテリアとバクテリアを食べる微生物です。
充分な時間沈殿したら、上澄みのきれいな水を川に流しても良いレベルまで消毒します。
市の下水処理場では、３時間沈殿させるそうです。
