It's always difficult to make an exhibit that shows the future of something. One way to do it is building a scale model, wouldn’t come cheap, of the future world. The fancy model is OK for a while, only problem is soon becoming redundant most of the time.
Or simply make a graphic panel like this, not fancy, not expensive but easy to make changes in some time.

このグラフィックパネルは展示の最後にあり、市の将来の下水道について解説しています。将来について伝える展示を作るのは、結構難しいものです。将来像を模型で表現する事もあるのですが、製作費がかかる上、ほとんどの場合すぐに陳腐化してしまいます。
この展示のようなグラフィックにすれば、簡素ですがコストはかからず、いつでも修正が出来ます。
