A difficult subject often end up difficult exhibit: The Beijing Planning Exhibition Hall / 難しいテーマだから展示も難しくなっちゃった：北京都市計画展覧館

The theme for this exhibit is the ENVIRONMENT… you know those green things, CO2 Emmitt ion, global warming, energy efficiency and recycling etc.

It is one of the most important subjects that people should be aware of in daily activities.  However, unfortunately, it is not easy to make the exhibit interesting.

Here it is, the Beijing Planning Exhibition Hall uses wall projection for catching the visitor’s attention.  It shows animated graphics which number of projected tree leaf graphics increases periodically.  I think the intention is trying to give the impression of “Green” image as the exhibit theme…but…I’m sorry, so what?

I know it is difficult to create attractive exhibit on this subject and I don’t know if I could do any better than this…let’s try to come up better solution next time, buddy.

この展示のテーマは「環境」です。二酸化炭素の排出、地球温暖化、省エネ矢リサイクル等の緑っぽい内容ですね。このテーマは人々の日常の中では最も大切な事柄ですが、残念ながら、これをオモシロイ展示にするのは結構難しいものなのです。

ここ、北京都市計画展覧館では、来館者の注意を引こうと、壁にて木の葉の数がだんだん増えて行くアニメーション画像を投影しています。多分、「グリーン」が展示の主題だと言う事を印象づけたいのだとは思いますが…. でも…

確かにこのテーマで魅力的な展示を創るのは難しいし、自分だったらもっと良いものが出来るのかはわかりませんが…でも、次に創る時はお互いもっと頑張りましょうね。
