All stainless steel, bullet proof exhibit! : Xinjiang Science & Technology Museum / 全部ステンレスで出来てます。防弾仕様ですね。：新疆科学技術博物館

It seems the designer who involved in this science museum loved the stainless steel as the case material.

The exhibits in the entrance atrium are sit on the shinny hard-edged stainless steel bases. Stainless steel is durable, scratch free, easy to clean and never rust, etc., sounds like a perfect material for exhibit that expected to be treated in harsh handling by small children, sometime grown ups too. 

Still I am little concern on the hard square edge, which locates perfect heights for the children’s head position…

この科学館のデザイナーは展示台座にステンレスを使うのが大好きな方のようです。

入り口の吹き抜けホールに設置された展示は全てステンレスの展示台に乗っています。ステンレスは、丈夫で傷が付きにくく、掃除がし易くさびない等、子どもや時には大人からも、手荒く扱われる展示に使う材料としては理想的なモノかもしれません。

Exterior

しかし、この展示台の角ばった所は気になります。角の高さが丁度、子どもの頭がぶつかりそうな高さなんですよ。
