This clock was designed by a Swiss engineer Hans Hilfiker in 1944 and had been recognized as one of the best industrial design product since then.

The simple form and black & white contrast make easy to read from distance and wrist and pocket watch are also used among railroad operators.

This station clock is also displayed as a part of the exhibit at the Swiss Transport Museum.
