There is no need to say haw was this Blvgari exhibit was…. Impressive.

Unfortunately, but understandably, no picture taking was allowed inside.

I thought the designer did a good job.

Cleverly used the existing old stone build museum building, had converted to a high magnificent space, suitable for Bvlgari’s master jewel art works.

The interior’s light level was kept low that create a elegant and quiet atmosphere and only throw a spot lights to the jewels to stand out.

ブルガリ展については「凄かった」としか言葉はありません。

残念ながら当然ですが、内部では撮影禁止でした。展示会場は古い石造の博物館の空間を上手に使い、豪華なブルガリの美術工芸品にふさわしい素晴らしい展示空間を創り出していました。

内部の照度は落とされた優雅で落ちついた雰囲気のある空間となっており、照明を当てられた宝石を際立たせていました。

Black gate : Tokyo National Museum /黒門：国立博物館

There is an impressive looking old gate standing beside Tokyo National Museum.

This is an old front gate of the residential house belonged to the Tottori clan’s ‘daimyo’, feudal lord, Ikeda family, during Edo era.  Back then, ‘Shogun’ a strong ruler, made all local ‘daimyo’ required to live in ‘Edo’ today’s Tokyo and their ruling area every other year to confirm their royalties.

The Ikeda’s residence was located in Marunouti area where took over by the Imperial Army after ‘Meiji’ Restoration and only this gate was relocated for preservation in 1890.  In 1954, the gate was once again needed to move and relocated in current location.

There are only two Samurai residence gates in this size preserved in Tokyo, the ‘Black Gate’ at Tokyo National Museum and ‘Red Gate’ at Tokyo University.

東京国立博物館の横には、立派な門が建っています。

この門は鳥取藩の池田家が参覲交代で江戸に来た時の住居となる、江戸上屋敷の門でした。鳥取藩の上屋敷は現在の丸の内のあたりにありましたが、帝国陸軍の施設のために接収され、明治24年に屋敷の門だけが別の地に移築保存されました。その後、昭和29年に再び移築されて現在の地に落ち着きました。

この規模の上屋敷の門は、東京ではこの「黒門」と、東京大学にある「赤門」の２つしか残っていません。

Attractive space: Abu Dhabi 2015 International Hunting & Equestrian Exhibit /魅力的な空間：アブダビ2015 国際狩猟＆乗馬展

There was a small video theatre that shape like a big marine fish at the Environmental Agency – Abu Dhabi booth.

The video shows the fish conservation program inside this attractive tent theatre.

The chandelier like acrylic pieces are hanged from the ceiling with blue effective lights which gives nice effect as if you are being under sea.

Beside the fish the anecdote panels are suspended from the floor among the cut out school of fish.

アブダビの環境庁のブースには魚の形をした小さなビデオブースが設置されていました。内部では海洋資源保全のビデオを流しています。

天井からはまるでシャンデリアのようにアクリル板が吊り下げられ、青い演出照明の効果もあり、まるで海底にいるような雰囲気です。

魚の周りには、魚群に混ざって解説パネルが床から立ち上がっています。

Open air exhibit : Tokyo National Museum /屋外展示：国立博物館

This is an ornamental roof tile called ‘Oni Gawara (Demon Shape Roof tile)’ which put both peak ends of the rooftop displayed in the surrounding garden at Tokyo National Museum.

A massive roof tile represents power the house owner, Chikuzen Fukuoka Clan’s federal load, Kuroda family, possessed.  I was so amazed the fact this roof tile still looked new, proof of the craftsmanship quality and the cost for production in that era.

この鬼瓦は国立博物館の屋外の庭に展示されています。この立派な鬼瓦は屋敷の筑前福岡藩の大名屋敷に在ったものです。今見ても古さを感じさせない職人の技術に感心し、制作コストが気になりました。

The Tokyo National Museum has been organized since 1878 and current main building, Honkan, was opened in1938.  Since then new annexes, Heiseikan, Toyokan, The gallery of Horyuji Treasures, Kuroda Memorial Hall and Hyokeikan have been build around.

To guide the visitors to such dense museum complex without much confusion, a floor guide sign was installed in outside main entrance area at the ticket gate.

東京国立博物館の前身は1878年に設立され、現在の本館は1938年に建設されたものです。以降、平成館、東洋館、法隆寺宝物館、黒田記念館や表慶館などの新館が建設されていきました。多く建てられた博物館に来館者を混乱なく案内するべく、博物館の外部入り口空間の路面に案内サインが設置されています。
