AR vision: Small monitor box fixed on the axle pipe

There is a new type of exhibit tool called AR Vision ( Augmented Reality Vision) which overlay the images and text on the existing scenery when the visitor see the scene through provided monitor.

The visitor turn the monitor box equipped with camera, the monitor display the aircraft model sits in front.  Then, when the monitor (camera) picks certain important parts on the aircraft, supporting text describing the feature of the pointed parts appears.

By moving the monitor, following the model aircraft from top to the end, those texts pop out from next.

来館者が設置されたモニターを通して景色を見ると、その景色の上に画像や解説テキストなどを重ね合わせる、拡張現実の技術を使った「ARビジョン」と呼ばれる展示装置がありました。

この展示では、来館者は模型の前に置かれたカメラ付きのモニターを回転させます。モニターのカメラが重要な飛行機部品を捉えると、その部品に関する解説テキストや画像が表示されます。

モニターを飛行機の先頭から後部まで動かすと、様々な解説テキストが次々に表示されていきます。
