Exhibit in public space: Zoshigaya Station 1 / 公共空間の展示：雑司ヶ谷駅１

The Board of Education of Toshima-ku displays a graphic panel in Zoshigaya subway station.  The panel introduces their finding from pre stone age to Edo era’s garbage pit.  The garbage pit was a rare discovery because many ceramics and lacquer wares ware found and helped identify the life of the ordinary people and ruling class, Samurai.

It is a simple panel but tells you a about the local history a lot.

豊島区教育委員会は雑司ヶ谷駅の構内にグラフィックパネルを展示しています。

パネルには旧石器時代以前から江戸時代のゴミ捨て場の跡の事までが紹介されています。このゴミ捨て場は、江戸時代の庶民から支配階級の武士まで、当時の人たちの暮らしがわかる貴重な発見でした。

簡単なパネル展示ですが、地域の歴史を広く伝えています。
