The big book is a projection base for introducing the City of Kawasaki’s

natural and city history.

The book shaped projection base has some metal touch switches on the bottom, making to flip the pages, change the volume etc.  The functions of these switches would be different by page by page.  To indicate the different  switch function in different pages, the  projected descriptive text or numbers on the switches are also changed by pages. 

Some of the pictures on the album are motion images and combined with the audio guidance, it gives the impression of watching this interactive album would be like watching a short movie.

川崎エコ暮らし未来館

大きな本は、川崎市の自然と歴史の映像を投影するベース。

本の形をした投影ベースの下部には、ページをめくったり、音量を調節できる金属のタッチボタンがある。このスイッチの機能はページ毎に変化させている。ページごとに異なったスイッチの機能を伝える為、スイッチに投影する名称はページごとに変化させている。

アルバムに使っている写真には動画も含まれていて、音声ガイドを聞きながらアルバムを眺めていると短い映像を見ているような効果がある。
