The Traditional Craftsmanship = Leading Edge Technologies : Miraikan / 伝統工芸技術 = 先端技術：日本科学未来館

These shiny polished metal violins, functional musical instruments, were created by hammering craftsmen who usually manufacturing complex metal work, such as Shinkansen (bullet train) body.  When they wanted to prove their level of hammering skills, they decided to challenge for creating those shiny full metal violins.

Just beautiful.

この実際に演奏できる鏡面のバイオリンは、普段は新幹線の車両などを作っている鍛金職人さんによって作られました。

技術力を試すため、こんな素晴らしいバイオリンにチャレンジしたのです。
