| It's says 'Gold Leaf' |
Kanazawa has been producing 99% of the gold
leaf production and one of the major manufacture, Hakuza, opened there branch
store ‘Hakuza Hikari-gura’ at Higashi Chaya area in historical district in Kanazawa.
A small sign hanged outside of the store indicates
their product ‘Kin Paku (Gold Leaf)’ with short description text for the gold
leaf and its usage in traditional architectures.
Inside is not only a shop for the gold leaf
products but also showing the newly renovated traditional godown, which covered
by gold leaf, inside out.

side of the gold godow that describing the traditional method how to produce
the gold leaf by graphics.

金箔の99％は金沢で生産されており、金沢の歴史を留める東茶屋地区には、大手製造社の箔座が開いた店「箔座ひかり蔵」があります。
店の外には「金箔」と書かれた解説板が掲げられ、金箔と寺院などの伝統的な建造物に使われてきた歴史が簡単に記されています。
内部に入るとお店になっておりのは勿論ですが、新しく内外装に金箔を押した土蔵が公開されています。
