Smart bus stop: Hokutetsu / スマートバス停:北鉄

 indicate which bus is coming next

In Kanazawa, Hokuriku Rail Road Co., Ltd operates the city’s bus network and some of their bus stops are upgraded with advanced IT technology.

Their ‘Smart’ bus stop installed the digital displays that enable to inform which bus is coming next and show where the current bus location is on the map.

This bus stop looks more like the airport than bus stop….

金沢では、北陸鉄道株式会社が路線バスを運行していて、幾つかのバス停はIT技術を使った先進的なものとなっています。

この「スマート」バス停にはデジタル・ディスプレーが数台設置されていて、どのバスが次に到着するのか、それらのバスが現在どこを走っているのかを地図上に表示しています。

見た目はバス停というより、空港の待合のような感じですね。
