In the commercial area of Kanazawa station
building where travel information is locates, an Origami build Kanazawa
station’s famous gate, Tsuzumi Mon’ was on display.
Build in 2005, Kanazawa station has an
interesting gate called ‘Tsuzumi Mon’ that design was based on the shape of
traditional hand drum, Tsuzumi.
The US travel magazine, Travel + Leisure
selected this gate and station as top 14 world most beautiful station, designed
by an architect Shirae Associates.
The Origami version of impressive too, column,
Roof and Roof Top are separated and each parts are made from one piece of paper
without any cut.

金沢駅の駅ビルで観光案内がある商業エリアには、折り紙で作られた駅の入り口にある「鼓門」が展示されています。
伝統的な鼓の形をした金沢駅の「鼓門」は、2005年に建てられました。この白江建築研究所が設計した門と駅は、アメリカの「Travel + Leisure誌」に「世界で美しい14の駅」のも選ばれています。
折り紙で折られた門も素晴らしく、柱、屋根裏、屋根の３つの部品で構成され、各部品は１枚の紙を切れ目を入れず折られています。
