In this old district, Higashi Chaya area, is still alive and well, many shops are doing businesses for locals, selling daily groceries like preserved side dishes, grain or flour for instance.

The exterior/interior had not been changed for decades, reminded the scene from previous generation that only seen in the historical photographs.
