The sign system for people in special needs : Kawagoe Station / 体の不自由な方向けのサインシステム: 川越駅

In Japan, you will find many tactile way finding maps installed in various public places, especially near train stations.  In this picture at the east entrance of Kawagoe station, the tactile map is located beside the elevator that guiding the visually impaired people where the bus stops are.  It is obvious that this map has been well used because which surface is ware out quite a bit.
