The instruction how to play the game

Basically this exhibit is a body action game like Nintendo’s Wii, which equip with a motion censor that detects where participant’s hands are, up, down or stretched to either sides.  Then on the monitor, you are going down the sewerage pipe and overcome the obstacle by moving hands to stair your flow, then finally reach the goal, the treatment centre.

Notice the circular graphics on the carpet floor, it is a manhole lid for commemoration of the 100 years anniversary for Nagoya City’s sewerage system establishment, which you may be able to find city’s street.

Back end looks like a shield tunneling machine

One more thing, the back end of this booth is modeled as a shape of shield tunneling excavator.
Nice touch!

基本的にこの展示は、センサーによって上、下、横等参加者の腕の位置を判別する、ニンテンドーのWiiのように体を使ったゲームです。モニターには下水管を下って行く映像が流れ、腕を動かしながら途中の障害を避けてゴールの処理場まで向かいます。

カーペット床の丸いグラフィックは、市の下水事業100周年記念のマンホールの蓋で、市内で見かけるが出来ます。
また、このブースの反対側はシールド工法の掘削機の形になっています。
