| All one of the kind master pieces |
In this museum, the first exhibit welcomes
the visitors is a wall full of genuine art fountain pan that created by PILOT’s
master lacquer work craftsman. The body
of the fountain pans was embellished with traditional lacquer work, makie,
decorated with coloured lacquer, gold, silver and sparling shells. They
are absolutory beautiful.
When I visited, guided tour was held and
the interpreter was telling stories about each master craftsman. The display case also exhibits more lacquer works by same craftsmen
in traditional style, old fashioned stationary boxes which used to be common in
centuries ago, that indicate how highly skilled their masters are.

この博物館で、最初に来館者を向かい入れるのはパイロットの漆職人の手になる美術品のような万年筆です。万年筆の胴体には色漆、金銀、貝殻を使った蒔絵が施され、素晴らしく美しい仕上がりです。
訪問した時には丁度グループツアーが行なわれていて、案内の方がパイロットの職人さんについてお話をされていました。また、展示ケースには職人さんが創った文箱等、昔ながらの漆芸の作品も展示され、技術の高さを窺い知る事が出来ます。
